Ms Brenda Shanahan

Ms Shanahan has a research background in finance in Australian and overseas economies and share markets. She is currently Chair of both St Vincent's Health and St Vincent's Medical Research Institute in Melbourne. She is a non-executive Director of JM Financial Group Ltd and Challenger Financial Services Group Ltd (ASX:CGF), and a Director of Loop Ltd, a Melbourne-based public/investor relations company.

She is a former member of the Australian Stock Exchange and former Executive Director of a stockbroking firm, a fund management company and an actuarial company and currently a member of the Health Innovation Council, the peak advisory body to the Victorian Health Minister and the Council of Board Chairs for the Victorian Ministry of Health.

With over 20 years of experience in Australian and overseas economies and share markets, Ms Shanahan brings considerable financial and business expertise to Clinuvel. Ms Shanahan is well known in the business and financial community; her insights will add significant value to the current Board and the company. Ms Shanahan was appointed Non-Executive Chair of the Board in late 2007.

Clinuvel's management team has extensive experience in the commercial management of scientific and clinical development projects within multinational pharmaceutical environments and a broad knowledge of process development, project and corporate management.
