Welcome to the Clinuvel blog

Hello and welcome to the Clinuvel blog.

Here at Clinuvel we’ve been working for over 10 years on the development and refinement of afamelanotide, an Australian drug that we believe will be effective in assisting patients living with a number of UV and light related disorders.

But our research and area of particular interest and expertise has proven to be a lot wider than just pharmaceutical and medicinal applications for our drug. We are fascinated by, and have enormous passion, enthusiasm and interest in all things light related.

From the history of the study and use of light, through technological developments that today we may take for granted and of course the medicinal and social implications of the full spectrum of light and our environment. It’s all of special interest to us.

Light is an exceptionally broad and intriguing topic and one that we want to discuss with you while sharing the knowledge, insights and stories that we have gathered, or discovered along the way.

    Dear Sir/Madam

I would like to request an RSS feed for the CEO’s blog. Currently there is an RSS feed for comments on the blog but no feed for the blog itself.

    Thank you.

    Sincerely

    Andrew Moen

    Hi Andrew,

Thanks for the feedback! Since this blog is built on wordpress, all pages and categories automatically include RSS feeds, although only some readers and Firefox browsers auto-discover them.

To remedy this I have installed a plugin and menu that makes subscribing to any category easier and more visible.

Check the right hand nav and at the bottom you will see a widget titled ‘Category RSS subscriptions’.

Thanks again and if you need anything else, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!

    Kind regards,

    The Clinuvel team
